Whale Shark Beaded Top Slots

Inspired by the Whale Shark Beaded Top shown in the photos, this listing is for a fully custom-made design created to match your individual vision, tail, and measurements.

Unlike a fully cast silicone top, the only silicone elements on this design are the whale shark pieces themselves. The majority of the top is constructed from hand-sewn beadwork, shells, pearls, and decorative accents. Because of this, this design can be customized for a much wider range of sizes, from A cup through larger cup sizes.

For larger cup sizes, additional whale shark pieces may be added along the inner seam for additional coverage and balance, but this depends on the final design and size requirements.

Custom Design Process

Once your order is placed, I will contact you via email from tigersharkmermaid@gmail.com to begin the design process.

You can send:

• Photos of an existing mermaid tail for color inspiration
• Multiple tails you’d like combined into one design
• A mood board or color palette
• General themes, aesthetics, or ocean-inspired concepts

The whale sharks themselves can be customized in nearly any color combination, including:

• Realistic whale shark coloration
• Fantasy color schemes
• Metallic finishes
• Color-shift inspired designs
• Tail-matched color palettes

Each top is individually designed and no two tops will be exactly alike.

Production Time

These tops require extensive hand sewing and material sourcing.

Every bead, shell, pearl, and accent is individually selected and sewn onto the top by hand. I often source materials from multiple suppliers and stores to find the closest match possible to your chosen color palette.

Please note that production times may vary depending on material availability and shipping times for supplies.

Bra Base Options

This design can be constructed on:

• Low-cut U-shaped bra base
• Traditional underwire bra base
• Wireless bra base

Because this design relies heavily on beadwork rather than a full silicone cast, it offers more flexibility in shaping, coverage, and customization.

Strap Options

You may choose from the following strap styles:

• Invisible strap material (recommended)
• 4-way stretch mesh tie-back
• Neoprene swimsuit fabric tie-back
• Fishnet tie-back
• Keep the original bra straps

Band Options

You may choose:

• Invisible band (recommended)
• D-ring band
• Keep the original bra band

If selecting the D-ring band option, you must also choose a tie-back material such as:

• 4-way stretch mesh
• Neoprene swimsuit fabric
• Fishnet

Fit Recommendation

Because the beadwork can add weight to the finished piece, I typically recommend the invisible strap and invisible band option for the most secure fit and support.
