Because this is a sculpted marine-life design rather than a traditional symmetrical diving weight belt, I do my best to distribute the internal weight as evenly as possible throughout the piece.

The organic shape of the shark may create some variation in weight distribution compared with conventional dive weights, so the belt may initially feel different from a traditional weight system.

The amount of weight appropriate for a diver can vary based on the individual, equipment, exposure protection, water conditions, buoyancy, and type of diving.

Any general weight guideline should only be treated as a starting reference and should not replace proper weighting procedures, training, or an individual buoyancy assessment.

Always become familiar with your equipment and practice proper weighting and quick-release procedures in a controlled environment before using the belt during normal diving activities.

Never use additional weight to force yourself to remain underwater.

Never practice breath-hold diving alone.
