🚨 Shipping Notice:

Because each tail is 100% custom, shipping will be calculated after your tail is completed. This allows me to give you the most accurate shipping cost based on the final box size and weight of your finished tail.

At checkout, shipping will appear as $0, but the actual shipping charge will be invoiced separately via PayPal to your email. After I’ve completed your tail and sent you the final photos, I will send the PayPal shipping invoice. Once payment is received, your tail will be shipped with tracking provided.

About Silicone Mermaid Tails

I craft all of my silicone mermaid tails using Dragon Skin™ silicone, a high-quality, medical-grade silicone known for its durability, flexibility, and realistic texture.

If you’re exploring the market for a silicone tail, please be aware that not all silicone tails are made equally — always ensure the tail you’re purchasing is made from Dragon Skin™ silicone to guarantee professional performance, comfort, and longevity.

Each of my tails also features a neoprene interior in a portion of the tail. This lining makes it much easier to slip the tail on and off — a huge advantage for comfort and safety. I always recommend wearing leggings when putting on a silicone tail, as this helps it glide on even more smoothly, especially with the neoprene interior. This feature also makes my tails more beginner-friendly for individuals who are just starting out and looking for their first silicone mermaid tail.

Silicone mermaid tails typically weigh between 20 and 50 pounds out of water, but once you are in the water, they feel completely weightless. Silicone tails are considered the next step up in professional mermaiding — they look real, feel real, and are perfect for mermaid performers or serious hobbyists.

Why This Listing Is U.S.-Only

Shopify offers an upgraded plan called Shopify Pro, which allows store owners to process international orders directly through their store. However, Shopify Pro holds the payment until the item has shipped.

For large custom projects like mermaid tails, I need part of the payment upfront to purchase materials — I don’t have the ability to fund the full build out of pocket before receiving payment.

Because of that, I cannot use Shopify Pro for tail orders, which means this listing is for U.S.-based customers only.

If you live outside the United States and wish to order a tail, please email me directly at tigersharkmermaid@gmail.com. We will use my previous method via PayPal invoices so that the deposit can be received right away, allowing me to start crafting your tail without delay. This method also helps avoid hidden fees for you.

Order Process

Once your order for a silicone tail has been placed, I will reach out to you via email to begin the design process. The first step is drawing the design for your tail — if you’ve selected any add-ons, I will draw those out as well. We will go over all the details together, making adjustments until the design is exactly what you want.

Once you’re happy with the final design, I’ll begin construction using the fluke style you’ve chosen and the measurements you’ve provided. Throughout the process, I will keep you updated on progress. If you’d like an update at any time, you’re welcome to email me and I’ll happily share photos or details so you’re always in the loop.

When your tail is complete, I will send you final photos and also create a video showcasing your tail, which will be posted on my social media. If you’d like me to tag you in the post, just let me know and I’ll be happy to do so.

Return/Repair Policy

Custom silicone tails are non-returnable and non-refundable. You have 14 days from delivery to report concerns; afterward, repairs/resizing may incur a fee. Accurate measurements are the buyer’s responsibility.
